Synopsis

Earth is gone. In its final hours, a system pulls the survivors of its destruction into a hostile new world and assigns them roles, classes, and — sometimes — dependents. A former Marine must use every skill he has to survive: hunting, building, defending, enduring. But when he is assigned a young child to protect, survival becomes more than a mission — it becomes family.

Across thirty-seven chapters, Another World traces the slow, deliberate work of building a life where there was none — wilderness and weather, hunters and hazards, and the people who, one by one, stop being strangers. Some 143,000 words of survival, found family, and the quiet stubbornness of a man who refuses to stop protecting what's his.

Major Themes

Survival After Earth

Everything familiar is gone. The story begins where the world ends — and asks what a person carries across the divide.

Found Family

A child assigned by a system becomes a daughter by choice. The heart of the book is the family built, not inherited.

Transmigration & Systems

A new world with rules of its own — roles, classes, and expectations assigned to people who never agreed to them.

Protection & Duty

A former Marine's skills find their true purpose: not combat, but keeping one small life safe in a hostile world.

Wilderness & Weather

Forest, rain, cold, and distance. The land itself is a character — generous one moment, lethal the next.

Slow-built Kinship

Trust and belonging accumulate chapter by chapter — with settlers, allies, and the community that forms around them.
